Peggy Ann Branson, 73, Linn, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico.
She was born March 17, 1949, to the late Donald “Toots” and Alvina “Tiny” (Lampkin) Niederhelm. in Washington.
She was united in marriage to David Branson Nov. 24, 1967, in Gasconade.
Peggy was a 1967 graduate of Hermann High School.
She worked as an insurance agent for Gross Insurance Agency until her retirement.
Peggy was a member of the Community Christian Church in Linn.
She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Peggy adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Alvina; daughter, Heather Branson; and daughter-in-law, Amy Branson.
Peggy is survived by spouse of 54 years, David; son, Matt Branson of Jefferson City; daughter, Amber Heywood of Linn; brother, Mark Niederhelm and wife Bonnie of Rhineland; sisters, Debbie McGowen and husband Gary of Jefferson City and Lisa Baker of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Samantha Blaylock and husband Travis, Taliaa Pendergrass and husband Aaron, Mackenzie “Mack” Branson, Ricky Smithson, Sierra Branson, Haley Branson, Destiny Perrey, Keagan Heywood, Gabriel Branson, Carson Shockley, Lilly Danson and Heather Branson; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 16, at Community Christian Church in Linn with Pastors Tim Mitchell and Mark Gregor officiating. Interment was in the Oklahoma Church of Christ Cemetery.
