Ruth Stanfield, 94, of Maryland Heights, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at NHC Healthcare in Maryland Heights.
She was born Nov. 2, 1929, to Herman and Lydia (Leimkuehler) Lipskoch in Mt. Sterling.
She was united in marriage to Bernard Stanfield Nov. 22, 1958, in St. Louis.
Ruth was a member of Ballwin Baptist Church and she enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by parents, Herman and Lydia; son, Bernard Stanfield Jr.; and siblings, Virgil, Walter and Harvey Lipskoch, Rachel Ruegge, Myrtle Miller and Emma Carey.
She is survived by children, Raymond Stanfield of Valles Mines and Gary Stanfield and wife Sandy of Springfield.
Graveside services were held Monday, Sept. 9 at Giedinghagen Cemetery near Mt. Sterling with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
