Bernice Lynn Gilbert, 65, Chamois, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 27 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born July 30, 1958 to Marcellus (Earl) and Velda (Fern) David.
She loved big and her laugh was contagious. Bernice would do anything for those she loved. She would do anything to be on the road with her love, Charlie.
Bernice was preceded in death by parents, Marcellus and Velda;, sister, Sharon Gabathuler; brother, Allen David; nieces; and a nephew.
She is survived by husband and best friend, Charles; sons, Charles and wife Kellie and Brandon; siblings, Larry David and wife Kathy of Hermann, Mark David and wife Carol of Wellsville, Renee Wright of Columbia and Donna Foley of Hermann; granddaughters; grandsons; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at Chamois Community Center in the park.
