Beginning with the Aug. 6, 2024, Primary Election and continuing forward, the new voting location for Owensville Ward 1 voters will be at Seasons Of Faith Church, 525 East Washington Street.
Gasconade County Clerk Lesa Lietzow’s staff was mailing new voter ID cards to registered voters on Tuesday. The former Ward 1 polling location at First Assembly of God Church Hall on Cuba Street will be undergoing a major renovation making it unavailable for use, according to Lietzow. Her release noted there will be signs at both the former location on election day directing voters to the new location as well as signs at the new location.
This new information is highlighted on each of the new voter ID cards being mailed this week. Voters are encouraged to call the County Clerk’s Office at 573-486-5427 if they have any questions. And, in a related election request, Ward 1 in the city of Owensville is still in need of a Republican election judge to serve at the polls on Aug. 6 and hopefully, she noted, for future elections.
