Richard Herman Latall, 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
He was born Dec. 19, 1958, son of the late Robert Lee Latall, Sr. and Arlette Jean (Winthorst) Latall in St. Louis.
Rick worked in construction and sheet metal.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, target shooting and hunting arrowheads.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Arlette; brother, Robert (Bob) Latall Jr.; and nephew, Nathaniel Latall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Doreen of Linn; daughter Erica Hoffman and husband Lawrence of Westphalia; grandson, Zachary Hoffman; sister, Debbie Quain-Thomas and husband Marc of Illinois; brother, David Latall and wife Carol of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 until 4 p.m., Saturday Sept. 7, at the VFW Post 4756 in Linn.
