Rosemary Piles, 68, Owensville, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 3, 1954, to Gordon and Alice (Nydegger) Gazzaway in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Richard Piles, April 16, 1977, at Kirkwood Baptist Church.
Rosemary was a member of First Baptist Church in Owensville. She worked at Barnes Hospital for 45 years. She enjoyed working at church, especially Upwards basketball.
She was preceded in death by parents Gordon and Alice.
She is survived by husband Richard of their home; sons Mitchell Piles and wife Anita of Springfield, Richard L. Piles and fiancé Christina Carter of Plad, and Kenneth Piles of St. Louis; brothers Gary “Butch” Gazzaway of Richmond, Va., and Donald Gazzaway and wife Winnie of Owensville; sisters Georgia White of Austin, Texas, and Deborah Parr of Owensville; and grandchildren Shayne Piles and wife Hannah and Ethan Piles.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 2, at First Baptist Church in Owensville, with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial was in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
