Karen Lynn Sankey, 76, Argyle, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 24, 1947, to the late Kenneth Winston and Katherine Marie (Nye) Eastman in the state of Illinois.
She was united in marriage to David Gregory Sankey April 30, 1994.
Karen was employed at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Linn State Technical College and Farm Bureau.
She was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Katherine; and brother, Ronald E. Milton.
Karen is survived by husband, David, of Argyle; sons, Johnny Stein of the state of California and Paul Wieberg of Columbia; daughters, Lynne Brandt of Vienna and Elizabeth “Betsy” Watrin and husband Greg of Argyle; eight grandchildren; and brother, Keith W. Eastman and wife Linda of Bensenville, Ill.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, July 22, in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown. Interment was in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Koeltztown.
Memorial contributions suggested to the St. Boniface Perpetual Care.
