Written by Danish author Hans Christian Anderson and first published in 1837, “The Emperor’s New Clothes” concerns a ruler who is obsessed with fancy attire. Two con men offer to weave him beautiful new garments.
There is one catch: the material is invisible to those who are incompetent or stupid. Because of this, none of the emperor’s advisers are brave enough to point out that he is wearing nothing for fear of demonstrating their incompetence and stupidity.
As the proud emperor parades through the city naked, only a young child is brave enough to blurt out that the emperor is wearing nothing.
The tale has been adapted to different media in modern times with the title, “The Emperor has no clothes.”
For over a year, Republican leaders and some members of the White House press corps have pointed out President Joe Biden’s mental decline. Anyone paying attention to Biden’s appearances on the national and international stage has witnessed this change. In effect, many have been saying that the President has no clothes.
In an Aug. 2023 interview on “Good Morning America,” former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was chastised by George Stephanopoulos for having the nerve to call out Biden’s mental decline.
Democrats in the media — and Biden’s advisors — continually point out that we are incompetent and stupid, saying there is nothing wrong.
After a June 4 report in the Wall Street Journal with the headline “Behind Closed Doors, Biden Show Signs of Slipping,” Biden’s allies excoriated the Journal story as a ‘hit piece,’ with no basis in fact. The White House said Biden is sharp, and his critics play partisan politics.
Two weeks ago, Biden seemed confused in a video at the G7 Summit in Italy. The White House slams it as a ‘Deep Fake.’
The whole world witnessed Biden’s lack of mental health during the June 27 presidential debate with Donald Trump as Biden stumbled and mumbled incoherently.
This is not the first evidence of Biden’s mental deterioration. Five months ago, details emerged about Biden’s interview with Special Council Robert Hur, who described him as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Biden showed “diminished faculties and faulty memory,” the report said.
The truth is that many of Biden’s press conferences and speeches as President have been full of gaffes and bizarre comments.
CNN’s Carl Bernstein with Anderson Cooper reported on July 1 that “15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half when the president has appeared somewhat as he did in that horror show that we witnessed.” Bernstein admits, “These are people, several of them who are very close to President Biden,” and some reporters.
This information has been hidden from the populace. The President’s family and advisors almost got away with it the same way Edith Wilson — for all practical purposes — became the defacto President when her husband Woodrow Wilson suffered a debilitating stroke on Oct. 2, 1919. According to History.com, with her husband unable to speak or move, “Edith purportedly insisted that she screen all of Wilson’s paperwork, in some cases signing Wilson’s name to documents.”
It’s so bad that, according to reports, Biden cannot do a simple radio interview without using pre-determined questions provided by the White House, nor can he find his way on and off a stage without a step-by-step guide.
The 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution gives the Vice President the power to relieve the President of his duties due to mental decline.
A video by NewsBusters on X shows the liberal media calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked over 600 times during President Trump’s term in office.
For over a year, it has been obvious that Biden does not have the mental acuity to be the leader of the free world. This should have never gone this far, and this should make both Democrats and Republicans furious.
Democrats continually spout that if Trump is elected again, it will be the end of our Democracy. Whether you like it or not, America elected Joe Biden as our 46th President. It’s obvious that Biden does not have the mental acuity to be President. This means someone is running this country who was not elected. How is that Democracy?
On July 5, in a taped interview on ABC, Biden refused to commit to a cognitive test, saying there were “no indications of any serious condition.”
That says it all. Biden’s mind is fine. We need to trust the man with signs of dementia, not our senses.
