Personnel from the Gerald-Rosebud Fire Protection District were dispatched Saturday, July 27, to a first alarm structure fire on Angell Road.
Upon arrival on the scene, they found a working fire in the attic space of a garage (right). This fire was secondary to a vehicle fire. The firemen quickly controlled the fire’s spread.
Beaufort-Leslie, Sullivan and Union fire protection districts as well as Owensville Fire Department had been called to provide assistance in putting out the blaze. They were disregarded and the local department overhauled the scene.
No injuries were reported
