Larry Ralph Wiles, age 73, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Aug. 25, 1950, to Ralph George and Bonnie Maxine (Albertson) Wiles.

He was united in marriage to Beverly Ann Fick, Nov. 12, 1971, by Pastor Travis John, in Vichy.

During his working life, Larry worked for Quaker Windows, Freeburg, Wansing Small Engine, Vienna, helping the business get started, and was a self-employed jack of all trades. He was a lifetime member of the Mid-Mo Buckskinner Pre-1840 Club. 

Larry was preceded in death by son, Martin Wayne Wiles; parents, Ralph and Bonnie; sister, Brenda Carol Carter; nephew, Jason Douglas Dake; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph Ferdinand Fick and Luella Elizabeth Fick.

He is survived by loving wife of 52 years, Bev, of the home near Dixon; son, Curtis Wiles and wife Rachel of Dixon; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Wiles and wife Debbie of Iberia, Mike Wiles and friend Joy James of Eugene, Randy Wiles and wife Alice of Dixon, Darryl Wiles and wife Kelly of Dixon, and Jamie Wiles and wife Becky of Freeburg.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 22, in Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Brinktown, with Deacon Michael Brooks officiating.

Interment was held at Lambeth Cemetery, near Vienna.
