Robert H. Kliethermes, 71, Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Saturday, Dec. 20, 1952, a son of the late Roman and Alma (Bock) Kliethermes at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
He was united in marriage to Betty Campbell, who survives at their home, Saturday, July 20, 1974, in Rich Fountain.
Bob attended Linn Tech and after a lengthy career retired from Unilever in Jefferson City.
He loved fishing, hunting, and BBQ’s with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Roman and Alma.
Bob is survived by loving wife of 50 years, Betty; children, Brian Kliethermes of Springfield, and Melissa Swan of Jefferson City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Janice) Kliethermes of Linn, and James (Sandy) Kliethermes of Wardsville; and sisters, Mary Lea (Larry) Berhorst of Westphalia, and Ruth (Greg) Strope of Linn.
Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
