She later scored when Cameron Ryerson reached on an error for a 2-0 Dutchgirl lead.

Dare then walked and scored on a Kabren Kelley RBI sacrifice fly giving OHS a 3-0 lead after one inning.

Keeney proceeded to strike out the side in the top of the second inning giving Owensville a chance to add to their lead.

Scoring all five runs without the aid of a hit, Owensville drew four walks and had two batters hit by pitches.

Drawing walks and scoring for OHS in the bottom of the second inning were Daniels, Keeney, Dare and Ryerson.

Five St. James hits in the top of the third inning led to two runs before Owensville’s bats woke up after a brief hibernation in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Hinson scored the first of nine runs in the bottom of the fourth after being hit by a pitch.

Later in the inning, Knight got her first varsity hit and run batted in on a single.
